POP Bakery

Hi All!
Hope you're all good! Everyday I pass POP bakery on the way home from work and promise myself that one day I will go inside and see what it's all about because from the outside it looks pretty damn awesome! Today I did it and I was so glad I did. I know I'm a bit late to the party but why did no one tell me how amazing cake pops are! That was mean guys! They say first impressions count and I'm in love. POP bakery create cake pops that will make you smile. They even do workshops so you can paint your own cake pops! The designs they have are amazing and so fun.

As you know, today is Friday and thus treat yo self day! Woop woop!

I think it's safe to say I'm in a good mood. It seems I'm late to the game with a lot of things because I'm on season 5 of The Walking Dead and oh my word!!!! It's amazing! On that note, admire my scrumptious cake pop and be jealous. hehe

YUM!
Have a fun weekend!

DIY Dinosaur Trophy Head

Hi all! Hope the week's treating you well. What am I talking about it's nearly the weekend. That means something good is coming your way and it's well deserved! I've set myself the challenge of crafting more often rather than on an 'as and when needed' basis. Thinking about it, this should be my motto in life!

So I'm a 90's kid, which means Jurassic park was, by default, one of my favourite films. This is still true today. Anyone who tells me that they have not watched it, is often met with a strong look of dissatisfaction and shock. Watch it, it's great! With this in mind, this week I was feeling a little reminiscent and decided I needed some dino love and appreciation in my room.

This was the result! To say I'm pleased with the final product is an understatement, I love it!
It can be used as a jewellery holder or a declaration of your love for all things dino, I'll leave that decision up to you. The colour can be adjusted to match your room but gold should be a staple. Who doesn't like a bit of gold in their life? I spent £1 for the dinosaur, £1 for the cork coaster and £6 on the spray can (which I already owned), so in total it was a great deal! Now the toy dinosaurs I used were not big, so this won't be a massive piece but its perfect to hang in front the door to throw your keys on when your dashing in and out.

DIY Mango Slushies

So never in my whole entire life did I think this day would come; the day when those cursed 3 words  would leave my lips. IT'S. TOO. HOT. For the past week and a half London has been experiencing a heat wave or as I refer to it "hell deciding earth will be its new residence". It's so shocking because I love summer and live for the heat! However, this week I hd to draw a line, last Wednesday was 36 degrees, now that in combination with a headache and room with no breeze made for one very unhappy Lisa. That being said I'm one for second chances, so I'm pretty sure we'll get over this.

To tackle summer (she can be a cruel mistress) I lived on one main thing, mango slushies! It's quick and simple to make because it has one ingredient; mangos! Yes, that's it. I'm a fan of keeping things simple and healthy and this ticks both boxes.  They make great treats any event, whether you're having a BBQ or in the garden working on the tan lines. It's a great alternative for fizzy drinks.

What are your summer fighting techniques?
Are you a head in the fridge find of girl or is sunscreen your war paint?

DIY Travel Pouch

It's holiday season ladies, to those who have their perfect destination booked woop woop and to those who are not traveling, stay strong! Better days are coming! This year I'll be going on a family cruise around the Mediterranean and it's safe to say I'm excited. For me the holiday begins the moment I start planning what to pack.

When it comes to the day of departure I like to keep all my information at hand. Having a document holder means your not that 'annoying' person holding up the line by frantically searching for your boarding pass (alas, that was me before I saw the light). It gives you time to focus on the more important things, like shopping and laughing at your friends whilst they're the annoying people holding up the line. That being said you may want to share the love (this post) with your friends. Making a document holder is simple and extremely worthwhile! Use for holidays or mini breaks. Whenever you need to be organised and in style!

Are you going anywhere this summer?
Let me know what your doing to get ready!
