DIY Lego Crayons

My craft collection is vast, vast and old. I've had a strong love for all things crafty since I was a child and thus I have a few things that don't get a lot of love. I was conducting a clear out the other day (it was much needed) and stumbled across a box of crayons. Now I won't lie to you, crayons haven't been on my top 10 list for a while. However, anything can be reused/re-loved and this is a perfect way to give your old used crayons a new lease of life. Plus they're cute right!

They're quick and easy to make.
If your looking for original party favours, kids stationary, adults stationary, anything you want.
Give this a go!

What you'll need
Crayons
Cupcake Holders
Shape Mould

What to do
1. Chop crayons into pieces and place in cupcake holders.
2. Heat oven to 160c and put in pots.
3. Leave to melt for 10mins, regularly check as melting time may vary.
4. Pour melted crayon into mould and leave to cool
...and your done!

This tutorial is quick, easy and fun to use.
All you need to do is find a fun ice cube mould and gather up your old crayon pieces.

The lego mould I used can be found here

Happy colouring!
