DIY Cotton Ball Dispenser

Please don't hate me! It's been a while. I've been a busy bunny (pun fully intended). Please accept my sincerest apology and a bit fat hug! I've missed you guys. I'm back now and I've got lots to share. Hope your summer's been amazing, mine was great. Went to Amsterdam, Spain, Turkey and Greece, twas amazing.

Yesterday was Halloween and you know what that means; CHRISTMAS!!! Time to whip out the tinsel, dodgy jumpers and gift wrap. With that in mind, I thought I'd share a quick DIY suitable for a Christmas gift or (my favourite kind) a gift for yourself. If you know me, you know I'm a fan of simple DIY's that look like they took ages. Well this is one of them. Storing your cotton balls has never looked so cute. All you need to do is find a toy/piggy bank; anything you can cut. Remove the tail, stuff and you're done.

Let me know if you like?
Also, what DIY's would you like to see?

POP Bakery

Hi All!
Hope you're all good! Everyday I pass POP bakery on the way home from work and promise myself that one day I will go inside and see what it's all about because from the outside it looks pretty damn awesome! Today I did it and I was so glad I did. I know I'm a bit late to the party but why did no one tell me how amazing cake pops are! That was mean guys! They say first impressions count and I'm in love. POP bakery create cake pops that will make you smile. They even do workshops so you can paint your own cake pops! The designs they have are amazing and so fun.

As you know, today is Friday and thus treat yo self day! Woop woop!

I think it's safe to say I'm in a good mood. It seems I'm late to the game with a lot of things because I'm on season 5 of The Walking Dead and oh my word!!!! It's amazing! On that note, admire my scrumptious cake pop and be jealous. hehe

YUM!
Have a fun weekend!

DIY Dinosaur Trophy Head

Hi all! Hope the week's treating you well. What am I talking about it's nearly the weekend. That means something good is coming your way and it's well deserved! I've set myself the challenge of crafting more often rather than on an 'as and when needed' basis. Thinking about it, this should be my motto in life!

So I'm a 90's kid, which means Jurassic park was, by default, one of my favourite films. This is still true today. Anyone who tells me that they have not watched it, is often met with a strong look of dissatisfaction and shock. Watch it, it's great! With this in mind, this week I was feeling a little reminiscent and decided I needed some dino love and appreciation in my room.

This was the result! To say I'm pleased with the final product is an understatement, I love it!
It can be used as a jewellery holder or a declaration of your love for all things dino, I'll leave that decision up to you. The colour can be adjusted to match your room but gold should be a staple. Who doesn't like a bit of gold in their life? I spent £1 for the dinosaur, £1 for the cork coaster and £6 on the spray can (which I already owned), so in total it was a great deal! Now the toy dinosaurs I used were not big, so this won't be a massive piece but its perfect to hang in front the door to throw your keys on when your dashing in and out.
